After being closed since March due to the COVID19 pandemic, all household waste recycling centres in Carmarthenshire are now reopened. The centres based in Nanycaws, Ammanford, and Trostre are now open by appointment only .Any residents that turn up without an prebooked appointment will not be allowed entry.

Initially appointments will be available a week at a time. New dates will be available every Thursday  from 8:30am. This is to ensure that the centre staff can continue to assess the capacity at the councils sites and ensure to safely manage traffic into the centres and matain social distancing during visits.

To find out more about the changes and to book an appointment, go to the following website; carmarthenshire.gov.wales/recyclingcentres

The situation will be continuously reviewed and any updates or changes to the system will be posted on the council’s website or Facebook and Twitter pages.

To ensure it is fair to everyone, residents will initially be able to make one appointment per month
