CADW Open Doors at Kidwelly Castle

Every year, hundreds of historic sites around wales such as gardens, theatres and castles open their doors open their doors free of charge. The scheme is called CADW Open doors a annual celebration of heritage in Wales. One of the aims of the scheme is to enable members of the public to access sites that are not normally accessible to the public.

One of the historic sites in Carmarthenshire that is taking part in this years Open Doors scheme is Kidwelly Castle on 29th and 30th September

During the two days, members of the public will be able to explore this historic castle free of charge. You can also take part in one of the free tours that will be running during the days. It will run from 11am-4pm
