Carmarthenshire Carers Information Service

A carer is someone who look after a relative, a friend or neighbours on a regular or frequent who could not manage without their help. The support that some carers provide is unpaid.

In Carmarthenshire there is a organisation that can help, and it is called the Carmarthenshire Carers information service.

The Carers Information Service is an organisation that provides free and confidential information, advice and support to Carers. They produce and distribute information for carers, and organise regular events in partnership with other organisations.

The Carers information service is joint funded by the local authority and Hywel Dda University Health Board.
