Dog resuce centres

Updated: Mar 5, 2019

If you are thinking of getting a dog as a family pet or as a companion, dont get one from the internet or a illegal breeder, go to a rehoming centre or a registered breeder. In recent years, peoples perceptions of resuce dogs have changed thanks to programmes such as Paul O Grady: For the love of dogs and the Dog Rescuers. There are many rehoming centre in Wales all with dogs in need of a forever home. One of the many rehoming centres is Lizzies Barn. Kidwelly.

Lizzie’s Barn is a completely small independent, family-run rescue in South Wales. Being a rural area there are insufficient homes for all of our dogs and so we will home our dogs throughout the UK to very good homes provided we are able to arrange a home check. All of our dogs will have been neutered and we offer advice for as long as is needed. They also need sponsors for their long term residents.
