Flooding hits Carmarthenshire

As you may have seen on the news over the weekend, Carmarthenshire was hit by the worst flooding in over 30 years. Its was not just Carmarthenshire that was hit by floods, places like Cornwall were also hit.

One of the worst areas in Carmarthenshire that got flooded is Carmarthen, where roads turned into rivers, businesses and homes evaucated due to the rising river levels.

Another area that got flooded is Llandysul, where the Llandysul Paddlers canoe centre and the nearby fire station got completely submerged in water.

Dyfed Powys Police have advised people to avoid areas where there is still flood water and keep an eye on vunerable people.
