Food bin liners to be delivered to households

Carmarthenshire Council have announced that for the first time food bin liners are going to be delivered to homes across Carmarthenshire.

The food bin liners that are to be distributed to homes across Carmarthenshire will make it more easier to recycle their food waste.

Households will receive three rolls of food bin liners for their brown kitchen caddies along with their annual delivery of blue bags.

Deliveries of food bin liners will start in October up until the end of March.

Residents can find out when their blue bags and food bin liners are due to be delivered by visiting the delivery tracker on the Carmarthenshire council website. Simply type in your postcode and it will tell you your month of delivery. It will also state if the delivery has already taken place.

From October 7, the maximum number of black bags householders can put out for collection will be three a fortnight, so it is more important than ever to recycle any food waste.
