Every year, one of the best known cancer organisations in the UK; Marie Curie organises and runs a big fundraising appeal to raise even more money for the charity. Their appeal is called the Great Big Daffodil Appeal.
The appeal raises funds to continue the work they do for cancer sufferers around the UK. One of the things they do is specialist nurses in hospitals and care homes who help to support and look after cancer patients.
As part of the appeal the public gets the chance to purchase a daffodil pin or merchandise such as a badge, and all the profits go back to the charity.
But due to the recent snowy weather it has been annouced that Marie Curie has lost more than 400,000 pounds in donations.
The charity is asking people to continue to buy a daffodil pin or just put some money into one of their donation boxes, so they can make even more money
