Art Group - Every Tuesday 10:30am - 1:30pm

Ruth, a local artist, is teaching a series of lessons on water colours and painting. Come along for our painting art classes whether you are a skilled artist or a novice.

Ruth specialises in watercolours in various subjects and has now joined the Guild of Aviation Artists using her favourite medium to paint aircraft in seascapes and landscapes.

Ruth graduated with her Diploma in Art & Design in 1986 from Carmarthen Art College. She went on to gain her BA(Hons) in Interior & Architectural Design from Cardiff University 1989.

Ruth is a tutor teaching aspects of art media and subject matters. Her clientele includes working & retired adults as well as adults with learning disabilities.

Ruth gives demonstrations and workshops and accepts commissions. Examples of Ruth's work can be seen on display for sale at the Hub.

Computer Access- Every day 10:30am - 14:30

Computer access is available at the hub Monday until Friday. 

Need help or assistance to get on line, call in to the hub to get access. 

Knit and Natter - Fornightly on Fridays

The Knit and natter group meet in the hub on a friday to knit for the community, if you are a talented knitter or a novice come along. you are also welcome if you just want to natter

Kidwelly Hub - Book Sales Monday to Friday 10:30am - 2:30pm



The Kidwelly Hub has an extensive range of books for sale, all for a donation of 50p each. All proceeds of sales go towards the running costs of the Hub.


Everyone is welcome to come in and browse our extensive collection. We welcome any book donations.


The British Leigon Thursdays 10:30am - 2:30pm


The Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. Call in for a chat or support with local legion representatives.



The Wallich Friday 10:30am - 2:30pm

Lunch Club - Last Thursday of every Month 12:30 - 2:00pm

A Lunch Club for Kidwelly residents is run once a month in the Princess Gwenllian Centre, in partnership with Glanmorfa Care Home who provide lunch. Burns In The Community provide mini bus transport for those who need a lift.

The varied, two course set menu, costing £5 per person has been enjoyed by 30+ people each month since 2017. For bookings or further information, contact Lisa at the Hub. Everyone who attends this, enjoys the social aspect, including a monthly raffle and entertainment.
